Five-time Norwegian champions, Molde FK are on the verge of completing the signing of Nigeria U20 captain and Enyimba player, Daniel Daga.

The midfielder, who led the Nigerian U20 team to the quarterfinals of the 2023 U20 World Cup in Argentina, has already agreed to personal terms with the club. His official signing is pending only his medical clearance and the fact that he is yet to turn 18.

Daga, who previously played for Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup, arrived in Norway earlier this week to undergo his medicals. Sources confirm that the highly-rated midfielder passed the tests without any issues and is now set to finalize his move. He is expected to be officially presented by Molde FK within the next 48 hours.

Known for his exceptional ability to dictate play from midfield and control the tempo of games, Daga is regarded as one of Africa’s top young talents. His impressive performances with the Nigerian U20 team have earned him recognition across the continent. His move to Norway is seen as an important step in his development into a complete midfielder.

This transfer marks the beginning of what many believe will be a promising career for the 18-year-old, with Molde FK hoping to nurture his talent as he continues to grow and develop into a key player in the coming years.
