According to Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, Coordinator of the Joint Media Coordination Centre, Operation Fansan Yamma, the terrorists were neutralized on January 10 when troops dismantled their hideouts in the Fakai area of Shinkafi Local Government Area.

The operation also led to the escape of seven kidnapped victims from the terrorists’ camps.

The military has warned terrorist kingpins and their associates to surrender and renounce violence unconditionally, assuring the public of their dedication to restoring peace and security in the affected communities. Operation Fansan Yamma will continue to pursue and neutralize all terrorist elements within its joint operation area.
