The outbreak has raised concerns among health officials as Uganda continues to implement containment measures. The newly allocated funds will support healthcare infrastructure, response teams, and efforts to prevent further transmission. The WHO has been actively involved in Uganda’s public health initiatives, providing resources and technical assistance to manage outbreaks effectively.

This latest funding underscores the urgency of addressing the Ebola crisis and strengthening Uganda’s healthcare response.
