British boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn has urged former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to quickly decide between fighting Daniel Dubois or Tyson Fury in July.
Joshua has been on a remarkable comeback since his back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, securing knockout victories over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou. However, Dubois ended that streak with a dominant five-round victory over him at Wembley Stadium on September 21 last year.
Speaking with Boxing Scene, Hearn emphasized that Joshua must now make a decisive choice regarding his next opponent.
“Daniel Dubois, I think, will fight AJ this summer, if we want. And AJ wants to fight [Tyson] Fury,” Hearn said.

“We know right now [since Fury retired] that’s not an option. But I just want to throw a few other names into the mix because we’re in March, and he’ll probably fight in July.
“The feeling in Saudi [where Joshua attended the Joseph Parker-Martin Bakole fight as part of DAZN’s broadcast team] was, ‘I want Fury. If I can’t get Fury, I’d like Dubois.’
“And I think everyone’s dangerous. So why not fight for the world heavyweight title?”
With time ticking, Joshua must soon finalize his decision as he aims to reclaim his status at the top of the heavyweight division.
