Liverpool FC is delighted to confirm that Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract, extending his stay at Anfield beyond the 2024-25 season.
The Egyptian forward, currently enjoying yet another outstanding campaign, has reaffirmed his commitment to the Reds by putting pen to paper on a fresh deal. So far this season, Salah has scored an impressive 32 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions, including 27 in the Premier League — making him the division’s top scorer. He has also contributed 22 assists, underlining his importance to the team.

Salah’s new contract ensures that his remarkable Liverpool journey — which began in 2017 following a move from AS Roma — will continue under new head coach Arne Slot, as the Reds aim to compete for major trophies once again.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Salah expressed his excitement about the future:
“Of course I’m very excited. We have a great team now — even before, we had a great team. But I signed because I believe we have a real chance to win more trophies and enjoy our football. I’ve had the best years of my career here and I hope to make it 10 years at the club. I’m enjoying life and football here.”
He also shared a heartfelt message with Liverpool fans:
“I’m very, very happy to be here. I signed because I believe in what we can achieve together. Keep supporting us — we’ll give it our all and hopefully win even more trophies in the future.”

Since arriving at Anfield, Salah has firmly established himself as a club legend. With 243 goals in 394 appearances, he stands third on Liverpool’s all-time scorers list. His honours include seven major trophies: the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, and two League Cups.
Individually, Salah has earned three Premier League Golden Boots, two PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards, and two FWA Footballer of the Year titles.
