Guinean Ambassador to Nigeria, Siaka Cissoko, has called on Nigerian businesses and investors to participate in a massive $20 billion development project currently underway in Guinea.
During a courtesy visit by members of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Nigeria (DICAN) to the Guinean Embassy in Abuja, Cissoko highlighted the significant potential for cross-border collaboration and described the project as a multibillion-dollar opportunity ripe for Nigerian involvement.
The ambassador expressed optimism that stronger partnerships and increased information sharing would enable Nigerian investors to tap into emerging opportunities in Guinea, particularly in the mining sector where both countries have an abundance of natural resources.
Cissoko lamented that Guinean entrepreneurs often seek smaller-scale deals in Asia, unaware of the viable prospects available in Nigeria, and stressed the need to deepen bilateral ties.
DICAN Chairman Fredrick Idehai responded, expressing the association’s readiness to work closely with the Guinean Embassy to promote investment and development.
