The Federal High Court in Abuja has barred Favour Kanu, the sister-in-law of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu, from attending the next three court sittings.
Favour was accused of recording court proceedings and publishing restricted content online during a previous sitting.
Justice James Omotosho, who presided over the case, temporarily excused her after she claimed ignorance and apologized for her actions.
The judge emphasized the need for order and respect for the court’s processes.
Nnamdi Kanu’s counsel, Kanu Agabi, had appealed for forgiveness on Favour’s behalf, quoting the Bible and acknowledging her apology.
