Galatasaray have been crowned champions of the 2024/25 Turkish Super Lig following a dominant 3-0 victory over Kayserispor on Sunday evening at a packed Rams Park in Istanbul.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was the star of the night, opening the scoring in the 27th minute with a powerful header. Rising above the Kayserispor defence, Osimhen connected perfectly with Gabriel Sara’s corner to send the home crowd into raptures. The goal marked his 36th of the season across all competitions, underlining his influence in a title-winning campaign.

Galatasaray wasted no time building on their lead. Just two minutes after the opener, Lucas Torreira unlocked Kayserispor’s defence with a clever through ball to Barış Alper Yılmaz, who calmly finished into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
The quick-fire goals stunned the visitors, and Galatasaray remained in full control throughout the match. A third goal sealed the emphatic win, capping off a flawless performance.
Goalkeeper Fernando Muslera played his part, pulling off several crucial saves to keep a clean sheet and secure the title for Okan Buruk’s side.
The win lifts Galatasaray to 89 points from 34 matches, giving them an unassailable six-point lead over fierce rivals Fenerbahce, who sit second with 83 points and only two games remaining.

With this triumph, Galatasaray seal their 24th league title and reinforce their dominance in Turkish football, with Osimhen’s standout season providing the spark for another golden chapter in the club’s history.
