The Kano State Government has announced a two-week mid-term holiday for all primary and post-primary schools in the state to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. Schools will proceed on break from June 4, 2025, and resume on June 15, 2025.

The directive applies to both day and boarding schools, with parents and guardians of boarding students advised to collect their children by the early hours of June 4.

Commissioner of Education, Ali Makoda, urged parents to ensure students resume promptly after the holiday, wishing students and staff a peaceful and successful Sallah break.
