Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen and Italian club Napoli have firmly rejected a €70 million offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
The Saudi giants reportedly submitted a bid worth €65 million plus €5 million in add-ons in an effort to lure the Nigerian striker to Riyadh. However, Napoli wasted no time in turning it down, standing firm on their demand for the full €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract.

It wasn’t just the club who declined the offer, Osimhen also reportedly snubbed Al Hilal’s personal terms, which included a jaw-dropping €26 million annual salary. Sources close to the 26-year-old forward say he is not yet ready to move to the Middle East, despite the massive financial package on offer.
Al Hilal, recently under the management of new head coach Simone Inzaghi, have been eager to make Osimhen their marquee signing. The Nigerian international impressed last season during a stellar loan spell at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances — helping the Turkish giants clinch a domestic double.
Despite reported interest from Galatasaray, who are ready to offer Osimhen €15 million annually to stay in Istanbul, the striker’s long-term future remains undecided.

Several European heavyweights are also said to be monitoring his situation. Napoli, however, are adamant that no deal will be made unless their financial conditions are fully met, and only if the player is on board.
For now, both Napoli and Osimhen have sent a clear message: the Nigerian forward is not available for a discount deal, no matter how lucrative the Middle Eastern offers may be.
