The wife of Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, Olori Solape Abolarin, has passed away.
Governor Ademola Adeleke expressed profound sorrow over her demise, describing her as a virtuous woman and a pillar of support to her husband in administering the affairs of his subjects.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke condoled with Oba Abolarin, children, family, colleagues, and the people of Oke-Ila, urging them to take solace in the fact that she lived a life full of impact.
The governor also sympathized with the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, where the deceased worked before her sudden death, noting that her demise would be deeply felt but her legacy should be honored.
Adeleke prayed for the repose of Olori Solape’s soul and encouraged the family to find comfort in the wonderful moments they shared with her.
