Thousands of youths under the banner of pro-Tinubu and Alia support groups flooded the streets of Makurdi, the Benue State capital, on Thursday in a show of solidarity and early support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia’s potential second-term ambitions.
The rally, which drew participants from various groups, culminated at the roundabout leading to the Government House, where the governor was expected to address the crowd. Supporters carried banners and chanted slogans endorsing the current administration at both federal and state levels.

Among the groups present were members of the Tinubu/Alia support group, alongside other youth coalitions who praised the leadership strides of both Tinubu and Alia. The gathering was described as peaceful, with participants urging continued support for the leaders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

As of the time of filing this report, the crowd was still gathered, awaiting a formal address from Governor Alia. More details are expected to emerge following the event.
