The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally received and accepted the resignation of the party’s former National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
In a statement released after its 174th meeting held on Monday and presided over by Acting National Chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, the NWC acknowledged Ganduje’s “exceptional leadership” and wished him a speedy recovery.

Dalori, who now leads the ruling party, assured members of the APC that the party remains a united and formidable force. He pledged to work closely with fellow NWC members to promote internal democracy and build on the progress already achieved.
He also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering leadership and support for the party and the nation. Dalori reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the Renewed Hope agenda and promised to be a driving force for economic growth, social cohesion, and political stability in Nigeria.
