Liberia to Rebury President Killed in 1980 Coup in Symbolic Act of Reconciliation

Liberia’s former President William Tolbert, who was murdered during a coup 45 years ago, is set to receive a symbolic reburial in his own grave.

Tolbert’s body was believed to have been dumped in a mass grave after his killing, and none of the 14 cabinet members executed alongside him have been found.
