President Bola Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria today after a two-week visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil, where he attended the 2025 BRICS Summit.
The President’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, announced his return in a post on his official X handle.
During his visit, Tinubu paid a state visit to Saint Lucia, deepening Nigeria’s engagement with Caribbean nations and strengthening South-South cooperation.
He then attended the BRICS Summit in Brazil, held from July 6-7, 2025, which brought together leaders from major emerging economies to discuss global economic issues and cooperation.
The President’s trip aimed to promote Nigeria’s interests and strengthen its relationships with other nations.
Tinubu’s return to Nigeria marks the end of his diplomatic engagements abroad, and he is expected to resume his duties as President, focusing on the country’s development and welfare.
