Nigeria has declared seven days of mourning for former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at a hospital in London.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced Buhari’s death and directed that all national flags fly at half-staff across the country for seven days from today.
