The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, July 15, 2025, a public holiday in honor of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration of a seven-day national mourning.

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced the holiday as a mark of respect for Buhari’s service to the nation, contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey, and enduring legacy in governance and national development.
