Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has formally announced his resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), marking the end of a decades-long association with the party.

The development was disclosed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by political commentator @imranmohammad on Wednesday.
