Bayern Munich are on the verge of completing a loan move for Chelsea and Senegalese forward ,Nicolas Jackson, with reports suggesting that both clubs have reached an agreement.

According to BBC Sport, citing Bild in Germany, the 24-year-old Senegal international is expected to join the Bundesliga giants before the close of the summer transfer window.

Jackson’s absence from Chelsea’s squad in recent matches — including the Premier League clash against West Ham on August 22, 2025, and friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan — intensified speculation over his future.

The striker has found himself pushed down the pecking order following Chelsea’s acquisition of new attacking options Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, making a move away increasingly likely.

Jackson, who netted 13 goals in 37 appearances last season, still has a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge running until 2033. Since moving to Europe, he has represented Chelsea and Villarreal, recording 36 goals and 14 assists in 100 appearances.

For Chelsea in the 2024/25 campaign, he registered 10 goals and five assists across 30 matches, underlining his attacking contribution despite limited opportunities.

Bayern’s pursuit of Jackson is seen as a key step in bolstering their frontline ahead of a demanding season in both domestic and European competitions.
