President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a national broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 7 a.m. to commemorate Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
All television, radio stations, and electronic media outlets have been urged to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast.
According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the President’s address aims to reflect on the nation’s progress and challenges.
Additionally, President Tinubu will inaugurate the newly renovated National Arts Theatre in Lagos, a project executed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Bankers’ Committee as part of their commitment to giving back to the nation.
