Nigeria: Katsina Governor Swears In Three Commissioners, Eight Permanent Secretaries

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has sworn in three new commissioners and eight permanent secretaries, urging them to view their appointments as solemn responsibilities to serve the people with honesty, transparency, and a sense of duty.

The newly appointed commissioners include Yusuf Jibia, Aisha Malumfashi, and Sirajo Abukur, while the permanent secretaries are Yusuf Ahmed, Aminu Ibrahim, Aishatu Abdullahi, Dasuki Ibrahim Abubakar, Lawal Abashe, Ado Yahaya, Sani Rabi’u Jibia, and Nasiru Ladan.

Governor Radda emphasized that the swearing-in ceremony marked a renewal of commitment to good governance, accountability, and effective service delivery.

He praised the new commissioners for their competence, integrity, and record of public service, highlighting their crucial roles in strengthening the system.

The governor also charged the permanent secretaries to be disciplined, result-oriented, and efficient in supporting policy implementation.

In his remarks, Governor Radda commended the appointees for their dedication and experience, noting that their appointments reflect fairness and representation across different zones in the state. He urged them to work together to promote prosperity and peace in Katsina State.
