Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, raided Proxy Nightclub located at 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, where a drug-fueled party was underway. Over 100 suspects were arrested, including the club owner, socialite Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike.
NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi confirmed the operation, revealing that cartons of illicit drugs including “loud” and “laughing gas,” were recovered from the club and its store.

He explained that the operation followed credible intelligence, with NDLEA operatives infiltrating the party around 11 p.m. on Saturday before making arrests at 3 a.m. Sunday in line with the agency’s standard operating procedures.
