Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 24-man squad for Nigeria’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Playoff clash against Gabon, scheduled to take place in Morocco on November 13, 2025.

The list features key regulars including Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and captain William Troost-Ekong, as Chelle looks to secure Nigeria’s spot at next year’s global showpiece.

Newer faces Akor Adams of Sevilla and Olakunle Olusegun also retain their places after earning first call-ups in October’s qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Lesotho, where they impressed with strong performances.

The squad blends experience and youth, with Chelle expected to rely on the attacking prowess of Osimhen and Lookman, as well as the leadership and defensive stability provided by Troost-Ekong.

Nigeria will be aiming to continue their fine form from the group stage as they take on Gabon in what promises to be a decisive semi-final playoff encounter for a ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in USA, Canada, and Mexico.
