President Bola Tinubu has extended his warmest congratulations to Nigerian music sensation Tems on her remarkable win at the 67th annual Grammy Awards.

Tems took home the award for Best African Music Performance, bringing pride to Nigeria on the global stage for the second time.

In a statement, President Tinubu commended Tems for her unique artistry, which has propelled Afrobeats to international prominence.

He celebrated the rise of a new generation of young, multi-talented Nigerian musical artists who have enhanced the country’s reputation as a powerhouse of musical innovation, creativity, and cultural influence.

The President noted that Afrobeats has become a source of national pride, promoting a sense of identity and self-expression while uniting people across borders.

He also congratulated other Nigerian artists nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards, including Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Lojay, Davido, and Burna Boy.

President Tinubu thanked these artists for putting Nigeria on the global map of great achievers in the music industry and for showcasing the country’s creative excellence.

He praised them as inspirations and role models to many young people, expressing the nation’s gratitude for their contributions to music, job creation, and tourism promotion.
