Former Governor and Senate President Bukola Saraki has condemned the terrorist attack on Eruku, a community in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, calling on the Nigerian government and security agencies to act swiftly to rescue abducted residents.
The attack, which occurred on Tuesday evening, left three worshippers dead and several others kidnapped, including the pastor of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC).
Saraki described the incident as “seriously disturbing” and expressed sympathy for the victims and their families, praying for divine healing and strength.
He urged the Federal Government to prioritize the rescue mission and ensure the safe return of all abducted persons, calling for a comprehensive security arrangement to protect Eruku and other vulnerable communities across Kwara State.
