He urged the Federal Government to prioritize the rescue mission and ensure the safe return of all abducted persons, calling for a comprehensive security arrangement to protect Eruku and other vulnerable communities across Kwara State.

The Kwara State Police Command confirmed the attack, stating that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Eruku and his team responded swiftly to the sound of gunshots.
