President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with top security officials at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
A source at the State House confirmed the meeting on Sunday evening.

Officials present include the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyode; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Kelvin Aneke; the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas; the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General EAP Undiendeye; and the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu.

Also attending are the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Tosin Ajayi.
While the details of the discussions remain unclear, the meeting is widely believed to be linked to the recent wave of kidnappings across some northern states.
