President Emmerson Mnangagwa is attending the second and final day of the African Union-European Union (AU-EU) Summit in Luanda, Angola, where leaders are discussing migration, people mobility, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
The summit, themed “Promoting Peace and Prosperity through Effective Multilateralism,” aims to renew Africa-Europe partnerships and promote a strong, balanced, and future-oriented relationship.
In his address, Mnangagwa highlighted infrastructure gaps hindering Africa’s competitiveness and urged the EU to increase support and investment under the Global Gateway Africa-Europe Investment Package.
Over 40 Heads of State are attending the summit, focusing on key areas like peace, security, economic integration, trade, and human development.
