Oman and Burkina Faso have taken steps to strengthen their bilateral economic relations, with a focus on expanding trade, investment, and institutional cooperation.
Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, met with Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, Burkina Faso’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, including mining, agriculture, and energy.
The meeting aimed to develop trade exchange, encourage reciprocal investments, and support economic growth for both countries.
The two sides also emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise, enhancing communication between public and private sector institutions, and opening new avenues for cooperation in commercial, industrial, and investment fields.
Oman is keen to expand its economic partnerships with African countries, aligning with its Vision 2040 objectives to diversify the economy, enhance business competitiveness, and attract quality investments.
This meeting is part of Oman’s efforts to boost international economic relations and build strategic partnerships that support sustainable development and shared interests.
