Troops of Sector 2 of the Joint Task Force, North East Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), have intercepted two pick-up vans conveying logistics supplies suspected to be meant for Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Borno State.
The operation was carried out following credible intelligence that alerted the military to the movement of the items from Dapchi in Yobe State toward the Magumeri general area of Borno.
According to a statement issued by the Media Information Officer of Operation Hadin Kai in Maiduguri, Lt. Col. Sani Uba, troops, working in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), acted swiftly on the intelligence, deployed tactically along the identified route, and successfully intercepted the vehicles.
