Nigerian striker, Umar Sadiq has completed a permanent move to Valencia from Real Sociedad.

The 28-year-old forward has signed a contract with Valencia until June 2028, returning to the Mestalla after spending the second half of last season on loan at the club.

Sadiq scored six goals in 19 appearances during his loan spell, impressing fans with his physical presence, aerial ability, and skill in creating scoring opportunities both in open play and combination attacks. His performance earned him the Best Goal award for March, following a stunning backheel strike against CA Osasuna.

This season, Sadiq made five league appearances for Real Sociedad before finalizing the transfer. He initially joined the club from Almería in 2022.
