In recent months, the singer had made headlines for personal milestones. In November 2024, he welcomed his first child, while earlier in March 2024, he reportedly proposed to his partner with a diamond ring said to be worth millions of naira.

Destiny Boy’s reported passing marks a tragic end to a career that was only beginning to gain momentum in the Nigerian music industry.
