Former South African President Jacob Zuma was mentioned in Jeffrey Epstein’s emails regarding a 2010 dinner at London’s Ritz Hotel.
The dinner, arranged by Epstein, included a Russian model and took place during Zuma’s state visit to the UK. Zuma met Epstein in his capacity as president during the London visit.
The Jacob Zuma Foundation rejected the reports, calling them “agenda-driven journalism” and “guilt by association”, stating that Zuma hadn’t done anything unlawful or improper.
The emails reveal Epstein’s connections with influential figures, including British politician Lord Peter Mandelson.
There’s no indication of unlawful conduct by Zuma. Zuma’s attendance at the dinner has sparked questions about his associations, but his foundation denies any wrongdoing.
