President Tinubu Nominates Amb. Ismail Abba Yusuf as New NAHCON Chairman

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf as the new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

The nomination has been forwarded to the Senate for confirmation, in line with Section 3(2) of the NAHCON Act, 2006. Ambassador Yusuf’s nomination comes few days after Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman resigned as the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), on Monday, 9th February 2026.
