The Super Eagles are scheduled to play an international friendly against Jordan national football team in Amman this March.

The match will form part of Jordan’s preparations for their maiden appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they are drawn in a challenging group alongside defending champions Argentina national football team, Algeria national football team, and Austria national football team.

Nigeria’s participation in the friendly, however, remains contingent on FIFA’s upcoming ruling regarding the Super Eagles’ eligibility protest against Democratic Republic of Congo.
In addition to the Jordan clash, Nigeria is reportedly in talks to arrange another friendly against Iran national football team later in March as part of their international fixtures.
