Suspected ISWAP fighters attacked the Garahamojili military camp in Adamawa State, killing two soldiers and destroying three military vehicles.
The insurgents, who claimed the attack was part of their “Burn the Camps” offensive, also carted away weapons and ammunition.
This marks the first time ISWAP has targeted a Nigerian Army camp in Adamawa State.
The attack, which lasted 20 minutes, has raised concerns about the security situation in the region.
The Nigerian military has not yet issued a formal statement on the incident.
