The trial of Bellarmine Mugabe, son of late Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, has been postponed to March 11, 2026, due to an unexpected power outage at the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court in South Africa.

Mugabe and his co-accused, Tobias Matonhdze, are facing charges of attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice, and possession of a firearm, stemming from an alleged incident at Mugabe’s Hyde Park residence last month.
