Philip Aduda, former Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) due to ongoing internal conflicts within the party.
Aduda, who served in the 7th, 8th, and 9th Senates, submitted his resignation letter to the PDP Chairman in Karu Ward, Abuja, citing the crisis as the reason for his departure.
In his letter, Aduda expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve in various elective positions, stating, “I remain grateful for the opportunity the party gave me to serve in various elective positions in our nation.” His resignation is expected to have significant implications, with speculation suggesting he might join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
