President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed appreciation to Nigerians for their goodwill messages and support as he marked his 74th birthday, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to national progress despite ongoing challenges.

In a message addressed to citizens on the occasion of his birthday, the President thanked Nigerians for their prayers, patriotism, and solidarity, noting that their encouragement continues to strengthen his resolve to serve the country.
He also acknowledged individuals and groups who took out newspaper spaces and paid for radio and television airtime to celebrate him, describing their gestures as deeply appreciated.

Tinubu extended special gratitude to his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind words, as well as to Vice President Kashim Shettima for his tribute.
The President stated that, in keeping with his tradition and in consideration of the current national mood, he chose to mark the birthday in a low-key manner.
Reflecting on his time in office, Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties encountered since the commencement of his administration’s reforms but expressed optimism that the sacrifices made by Nigerians are beginning to yield positive results.

He noted that while recent global developments, including the Middle East crisis, have posed temporary setbacks, there are visible signs of progress.
“The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me or the government,” he said, emphasizing that the achievements recorded so far are a collective effort involving all Nigerians.

As his administration approaches its third anniversary, the President reaffirmed his belief in a brighter future for the country, pledging to continue confronting existing challenges.
He urged citizens to remain united and committed to nation-building, expressing confidence that, with sustained support, Nigeria will emerge stronger, more prosperous, and resilient.
Tinubu concluded by encouraging Nigerians to continue working together to make the country a source of pride across Africa.
