The event, held at the Mallawa Eid Ground along New Jos Road in Zaria, Kaduna State, attracted a large crowd of supporters, party loyalists, traditional leaders, and residents from across the constituency. It was preceded by a solidarity march through several parts of Zaria.

Addressing the gathering, Tajudeen said his decision was based on his record of legislative and constituency achievements since first entering the House in 2011.

“This declaration is not based on promises alone. It is based on work. It is based on results,” he said.

He noted that he had sponsored 74 bills in the National Assembly, 21 of which became law, adding that his interventions have focused on education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and infrastructure.

He also highlighted several constituency projects, including the distribution of farming equipment, vehicles, tricycles, motorcycles, and direct financial support to thousands of beneficiaries.

According to him, major investments in education included the facilitation of an Education City project valued at about N80 billion and scholarship support for around 30,000 students.

On healthcare, he said he had supported the construction of primary health centres and the establishment of a 100-bed specialist hospital in the constituency.

Tajudeen also said his leadership in the 10th House had contributed to the passage of over 180 bills and strengthened oversight functions across government institutions.

He urged constituents to support his re-election bid, stressing the importance of continuity in sustaining development projects across Zaria Federal Constituency.

The speaker also commended President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for ongoing reforms and development efforts, while thanking APC stakeholders, traditional rulers, and supporters for their backing.
