Former Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, was at the Lagos office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday, June 22, 2026.
EFCC sources who spoke with TheCable said Okowa’s appearance is linked to an ongoing probe into alleged financial mismanagement during his eight years in office.
The commission first detained Okowa in November 2024 over accusations that he diverted about N1.3 trillion of Delta State funds while serving as governor.
The EFCC is yet to release further details on Monday’s visit. More updates are expected.
