Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claims to be the Director-General of the disputed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has pledged to cooperate with investigators probing the activities of the controversial agency.

Adeyemi said he would submit all documents in his possession to security agencies to assist the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in its investigation.

He made the pledge during an interview on Instagram with social media personality VeryDarkMan, shortly after President Bola Tinubu directed the ICPC to investigate the activities of the purported agency and submit its findings within 30 days.

According to Adeyemi, investigators should verify the authenticity of the documents he possesses and establish the facts surrounding the council’s operations.

He questioned how the agency could have appeared in the 2026 national budget with an allocation of ₦1.3 billion if it did not exist, noting that he played no role in the preparation or defence of the budget.

Responding to allegations he made against the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Adeyemi said he would allow an independent investigation to determine the truth.

The Presidency has maintained that the Federal Government never established the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council and accused Adeyemi of presenting forged documents while claiming to head a government agency.

President Tinubu’s directive to the ICPC also covers allegations of forged appointment letters, official government documents and bank accounts reportedly opened in the name of the disputed council.
