President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday administered the oath of office to Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The ceremony took place at the State House, Abuja. Enitan replaces Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, whose tenure as HoCSF has ended.
Enitan’s appointment was announced on August 19, 2026. With the swearing-in completed, he is expected to assume office with immediate effect.
The new Head of Service assumes the role as the Tinubu administration continues to push reforms across the federal civil service, including efforts to improve efficiency, accountability and service delivery.
More details on Enitan’s policy direction and key appointments under his office are expected in the coming days.
