On Thursday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu welcomed the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja during Faye’s official visit to Nigeria.

Faye, who at 44 is the youngest president in Senegalese history, arrived at the Villa at 3:09 p.m. on May 16, 2024. This visit marks his first trip to Nigeria since taking office in April.

The announcement of President Faye’s visit was made earlier by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, via his official X page.

“The Presidential Villa, Abuja, is agog ahead of the courtesy visit of the President of the Republic of Senegal, H.E Bassirou Diomaye Faye to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House,” he tweeted.
