Spanish Football Club, Sevilla has signed Nigerian winger, Chidera Ejuke on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old has joined the Nervionenses on a three-year deal, which will last till June 2027, following the expiration of his contract with CSKA Moscow. Ejuke arrives at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium after a loan spell at Belgian club, Royal Antwerp.

In an official statement on Monday, Sevilla announced, “Sevilla FC has reached an agreement with Nigerian footballer Chidera Ejuke to become a new player for the Nervionense team, joining García Pimienta’s squad as a free agent and signing for three seasons, until June 2027.”
The statement continued, “Chidera Ejuke (January 2, 1998), born in Zaria, Nigeria, is 176 centimeters tall, right-footed, and primarily plays as a left winger, but can also operate on the right side and in the final offensive third.”

Ejuke began his European career in Norway with Valerenga in 2017 before moving to Heerenveen in the Netherlands. He impressed CSKA Moscow with 10 goals and 6 assists in 29 games during the 2019/20 season.
His two years in Moscow produced another 10 goals and 8 assists, and he made his debut in UEFA competitions, featuring five times in the Europa League. He then spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Hertha Berlin before joining Royal Antwerp last season, where he scored 5 goals and provided 6 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions. He also made 4 appearances in the Champions League.
Ejuke is an established Nigerian international with 8 caps, having made his debut in 2020 after progressing through the youth ranks. He will look to add quality and depth to Sevilla’s attack as they aim for a return to European competition.
