The Nigerian Professional Football League’s new season is set to commence on the 31st of August 2024.
This was revealed during the Annual General Meeting between the twenty NPFL clubs that will play in Nigeria’s top flight next season.
The first Matchday fixtures will see Reigning Champions, Rangers International host the newly promoted and the holders of the President Federation Cup, El-Kanemi Warriors.

Bendel Insurance v Rivers Utd

Plateau Utd v Katsina United.
The prize money for the Champions of the 2024/2025 Season will be awarded the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira. Rangers International of Enugu who won the 2023/2024 were awarded One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira
