Many terrorists were killed at a hideout in Parisu, on the outskirts of the Sambisa Forest in Borno, when the Nigerian Air Force struck a Boko Haram supply facility.

It was learned that a high number of ISWAP fighters were killed in a precision-guided airstrike on December 5 that was organised by the Air Component and the ground forces of Operation HADIN KAI.

The terrorists’ logistics and enormous fuel dump were precisely targeted by the NAF aircraft, which made numerous passes over the area and caused a massive explosion.

Zagazola Makama received detailed intelligence indicating that the coordinated operation unfolded following a sequence of meticulous Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. These missions successfully pinpointed the concealed hideouts of the terrorists.

According to the sources, the movements of the terrorists were carefully tracked, leading to the discovery of their whereabouts concealed beneath dense shrubbery. Subsequent to the airstrike, the aftermath revealed extensive destruction of the structures housing the terrorists and their logistical support.

Moreover, surviving terrorists attempting to escape the targeted area were eliminated through follow-on attacks, contributing to the overall success of the mission.
