Africa’s Football Governing Body, The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the dates for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024.

The tournament will take place from October 19th to 26th 2024 in the coastal city of Hurghada, Egypt. Eight teams, including the host nation, Egypt will compete in the sixth edition of this prestigious tournament. The other participating teams—Morocco, Tanzania, Ghana, Mauritania, Mozambique, Malawi, and Senegal—earned their places after successfully navigating tough qualifiers across the continent.

For the finals, the teams will be split into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals, with the ultimate goal of capturing the championship title.
Hurghada, located by the Red Sea, is famous for its beautiful beaches and is a well-known tourist destination. This will be the second time Egypt hosts the Beach Soccer AFCON, the first being in 2018 in Sharm El Sheikh.
Reigning champions, Senegal, who have won the last four editions in 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2022, will be the team to watch as they aim for a record fifth title.
The tournament is set to be an exciting event, attracting beach soccer fans and supporters from all the participating nations. Further details, including the draw dates, will be announced soon.
