Reports reveal that following the ambush, the terrorists attempted to escape but were pursued by both military forces and local hunters in a bid to locate and rescue the victims.

However, the assailants managed to abandon the vehicle and escape into the forest, taking the humanitarian workers with them.

This distressing incident highlights the perilous challenges faced by those providing essential humanitarian aid in conflict zones, underscoring the urgent need for concerted efforts to address the security concerns surrounding such missions.

The international community is anxiously awaiting updates on the ongoing rescue efforts and the well-being of the abducted humanitarian workers.
