The polytechnic has set the cut-off mark for admission at 120 for candidates who sat for the 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination (JAMB) and are seeking admission into the institution.

According to a statement signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, the 10 new programs recently accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) include Geology, Agricultural Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Water Resources Engineering Technology, Library and Information Science, Health Information Management, and Public Administration. These programs are now available for admission in the 2024/2025 academic session.

Mr. Oloyede encouraged candidates who scored 120 and above in the 2024 UTME and chose Osun State Polytechnic, Iree as their first choice, or those intending to change their choice to the institution, to take advantage of the opportunity to enroll in these newly listed courses. The existing programs at the polytechnic are also available for admission in various faculties.

It is noteworthy that the NBTE recently visited the polytechnic for the accreditation of new courses at both the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels

Among the new courses available at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level for the ongoing admission exercise are Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology, with options in Farm Power and Machinery, Soil and Water, Post-Harvest, and Science Laboratory Technology (Physics with Electronics Option).

Mr. Oloyede further stated that the application form for Post-UTME is currently available on the institution’s portal for a fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3,500.00), while the HND form is sold for N21,800.00.
